Perception of Emoji Sequences

Emoji are used everyday in both private and public conversations online, but does the order that emojis are presented in affect how people perceive them? Have you ever sent someone a message with emoji and they mistook what you wrote in a different way than it was intended? This study looks into how different emoji affect people's perception of them being positive or negative depending on how they are combined with another.

About the researcher
Hello, I'm Michelle. I study Cognitive Science at the RPTU Kaiserslautern and am currently working on my master's thesis. I'm particularly interested in how people perceive the world around them and how they interact with emerging technologies. I also like baking. :)
